Two of my BEAUTIFUL best friends! Amy and Emonie graciously allowed me to photograph them one HoT summer day. It gave me a chance to use my camera and for them to frolic, look pretty, and have fun. There are a lot of pictures of them laughing and talking to each other but I decided to post the ones I thought they looked best in<They looked good in a lot of them-these were their best model looks>. The picture of Emonie on the rock, I told her to look like Ariel from The Little Mermaid and she cracked up- that's the only frame i have of her not laughing. All I can remember from this shoot was how hot and FUN it was. Great day. We spent the whole time joking around. Best and easiest people for me to photograph. While I'm away at school I miss them so much<I study 2 states away from them in Georgia> I miss them like crazy but I know Emonie's is livin' it up and Amy is working hard becoming a teacher. Can't wait to see them for Halloween! I miss my besties.

Scout-ing
This is my kitten Scout.
This was taken the first night I got her, I was a little excited as you can see. I named her after Scout in To Kill A Mockingbird, my favorite book. She's so cute, and funny. She spends her day running around my dorm attacking anything that looks at her the wrong way. She attacks things like toilet paper, my bag, the rug, my hand, my computer, and of course my roommate Meg. But fierce as she is, it is to be noted how much she loves a good cuddle. The picture above is how she spends most of her time with me, curled up on my chest sleeping and purring. SO CUTE! She melted my heart.
We went out onto the Quad and took some sweet pictures with our little baby.

Days passed and my love for her only grew stronger and her adoration for her new parents flourished. but this lovefest became threatened as my friend/RA<Resident Assisant> became suspicious at our newly locked door and shifty run-ins with her. For 2 years my roommate and I have wanted a kitten. A desire expressed to anyone and everyone we met and this year we vowed to make it a reality. So when we procured Scout, our friends noticed a shift in our conversations even though we tried to be subtle. We only showed our dear Scout to a privileged few who we thought we could trust. But like with anything that is to good to be true, there was a rat in our midst that confirmed our RA's suspicions.
So just like that Scout's Last Day came and these our some of the memories we captured. My roommate Meg, our friend Ashlee, and I all took Scout for one last outing and to search for her a new home and with great success, sweet Stephanie graciously took her to live 30 mins away. I miss her more every day. For instance, it's been 2 days since we said good-bye and I went to go see The Lion King, in theaters, and all i could think about was how much young Simba reminded me of Scout. I miss you sweet, soft, hilarious kitten.

Indoor Meadow
So for the past few months I've been on the hunt for some wide leg pants, like I've been seeing on WhoWhatWear and some of the blogs I read(inspiration pic below). I saw some floral ones at Rue 21 but, me being 6' makes it hard to find pants that fit. But Last week I spotted these at Antropologie and fell in love! The pattern was unique and tribal, the fabric is so soft i often was to sleep in them. In class today, I felt so at ease and comfortable. And they're just long enough. Like they were made for me. <3
Pants: Anthropologie
Shirt: Mossimo, Target
Leather Jacket: Silence + Noise, Urban Outfitters
Necklace: Old Navy
Rings: Jewelmint

Looking Back
A few months ago, some friends and I decided to go out into a field and take pictures. It was April and a beautiful Mississippi day. Ian and Kayla, though shy at first, gave me some great looks to the camera and candids. My camera allows me to show others how I see the world. I love peoples faces and hands the most, those two parts seem to tell the story with no words. Everyday I see so many great faces. Here are two....more later.
xx
